KruuseBHB® Milk Ketone Test - This test detects subclinical ketosis which is commonly seen in freshly calved cows (30% in many herds).  If not dealt with it can lead to substantial milk loss, impaired fertility and displaced abomasum. Designed to measure LDH levels, an enzyme released into the milk when udder tissue is damaged and cells are compromised due to an early mastitis infection.

Use to test all freshly calved cows once a week for the first two weeks of lactation to identify 95% of subclinical cows.
