Hay/Haylage exposed to the rain leaches soluble carbohydrates, protein, and certain minerals, removing the highly digestible and high protein portion of the forage. Mini Haybell – Designed to hold standard small bales or loose hay, with 3 feeding ports for horses.

The haybell is an ideal solution for protecting hay in all weather conditions. It helps prevent spoilage which in turn would affect the palatability. Rainfall leaches away the valuable nutrients which no longer available from grass reducing the quality of the hay. The Haybell also significantly reduces the wastage due to trampling or fouling. With poor weather conditions the pasture will be susceptible to poaching around the feed area, if feed is not protected this could have also damage the feed.

The haybells are easily maneuvered by a single individual as they can be rolled. Designed to work with standard bales of hay or haylage.
